I don’t know but…

The most intimidating thing to me about learning to code is being comfortable not knowing everything or at some times anything. Now, what I mean to say is that I am NEW to this, that’s a fact. I am new and that is okay. I have to be okay with the struggle. But, what can I do or what can you do to mitigate this obstacle.

I have learned to google. I have learned to dive into the documentation. Here are some key resources that I have found to be so useful:

Such a great resource! I have learned so much from reading through all the details of methods with their parameters.

As an extra tip, you can enter code into VSCode and when you enter a method or keyword you can hover over the method to get a list of the parameters and optional parameters. This paired with MDN has pulled me out of more than one fire!

Front End Masters has been invaluable to me as well. I have learned from industry experts and their live events are stellar! I would highly recommend that you dip your foot in if you are on the fence or you just need to take your first step.

All this being said, my favorite resource has been and will always be people. I have had mentors, pair programming partners, and even helped new coders understand some concepts. The coding community lifts each other up and if you embrace it, you can do anything or at least ask why you are getting an error.
